Play Store - Major Drain

So today I was using my fully charge n4 when later on in the day i get the low battery notification. It appears all my drain came from the PLay Store app.

Any thoughts/ideas why?

Maybe you were downloading something and/or kept it open? I mean it might drain a lot of battery but that is odd... Try clearing the cache and other data from the play store.

thanks for the suggestion. I gave it a reboot last night and let it run over night, the problem seemed to stop. I also cleared the cache after reading your post.

There have been others complaining about this and think there could be a bug of some kind. Not sure if it's valid or not.

I've had the occasional app go berserk and refuse to terminate/run in the background properly before on other Android phones. It was rare though and clearing the cache and/or rebooting always fixed it.

Some other people have been saying the noise in the earpiece is also a bug but huh. Well this is a new OS that no other phone is running really so who knows.
