We’ve released a new version of Active Display to squash the bugs that caused Active Display to not show notifications to some users. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I'm not sure if this bug was fixed, but I have turned off the option to add any new installs from the Play Store to the list of apps that use active display. But, when an app that I've chosen in [settings->active display->select apps] has an update in the Play Store, I find that it is unchecked and stops notifying me. I'll have to check later to see if they fixed that one.
