I have been having a problem with my play store and i needed help[ or at least wanted to see if there is anyone else having the same problem. Every time i open google play store the apps on the start page of play store do not show any app icons only the name are displayed

Things i have tried so far
1: Cleared google play cache, storage and even uninstalled play store updates
2: Cleared phone cache and even performed a factory reset
3: Cleared google play services app cache
4: Removed my google account then logged in
5: Contacted google who told me to follow these steps

My question is could this be a problem with the app itself, because this problem began after the update. And if so is there anyone experiencing the same. Is there another solution that i have not tried that could help me?

After which update, Play Store or your device update? If you feel it was a Play Store update then you seem to be taking a lot of the right steps but if it was any kind of system or device update then your doing the right stuff but you may have been doing it to the wrong part of the phone. I see the factory reset in the list, which is usually a cure all and a last resort. It should have cleared up almost any issue.

Since it still happened after that I'm thinking it is an app issue. Without knowing what device you have I can't give you directions on how to do any of these things specifically but Google usually takes you right to the how-to of it. What I would really like would be if you would do the factory reset again without using auto restore for your apps and settings. That's a lot to ask though, so we'll go with B. Diddy's stand-by, running the device in Safe Mode. If you run the device in safe mode and the issue goes away it's probably an app issue. If you run the device in safe mode and the problem persists it's usually a device setting or hardware issue.

Also are you running any kind of anti-virus, battery saver, memory booster or malware apps? You could try to disable those and see if your issue resolves.

And you're sure it isn't affecting any other apps? Especially apps that load pics like, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Craig's List, the Chive....?
