Play Store Problems (Sprint)

Anyone else having problems with the playstore on sprints network? I have two problems. Half the time I can't download anything from the playstore using mobile data. Error codes 425 905 927. Not of the fixes I found work. It will only download over wifi. When I can download from the playstore gmail sync doesn't work.

I went to a sprint store and the display model had the same problem with the play store. I was wondering is anyone else is affected

Had this problem yesterday. Called ATT, had to do a hard reset. Problem solved.

Is a hard reset and a factory reset the same thing? I tried the factory reset a few times no go

Did you disable any services accidently?

Nope, it wasn't working out of the box. Basically activated it added my google account, then noticed it wouldn't download off the play store

Google Play services needed to be updated when I took mine out of box. Might be the issue

How do I update that? I had updates set on automatically update, and left the phone on wifi, it still didn't work.

As soon as I opened Maps up, it requested me to update Google Play Services, stating Maps will not work if not updated.

Nope, nothing I tried fixed it. I took it to a Sprint store and the tech told me, I could either wait for a hypothetical fix which she had no eta on or return the phone. I returned the phone, and since it was a defect with the phone didn't have to pay the restocking fee.
