My S22 Ultra has been doing this for a while even though I keep it updated. Searching online mainly gives me suggestions as to updating sleeping Play Store app, not how to fix the Play Store app itself from going into deep sleep. Android keeps putting the Play Store App in deep sleep saying it is sending unnecessary notifications. I have tried all I can find to fix, including allowing all notifications from the app, allowing unrestricted battery, clearing the app cache, clearing the entire phone cache, uninstalling and reinstalling, etc. Still, I can set it the app to allow notifications, etc, and remove it from deepsleep, then go out of the app and right back in and it is in deep sleep again. Now this morning manually checking my phone updates, it said I had a security update. I started the download and it gets stuck at 1%. Have rebooted the phone and it repeats the stall. Not sure if the two things are related or not, but the main question for this post is to get ideas as to how to get the Play Store app to work correctly, notifying me of updates and not being put into deep sleep. Thanks!
edit: Just now I uninstalled the PS Update app again and now can't seem to find it to reinstall.
Also found this saying the January Security update is broken so that is unrelated to my Play Store Update app issue: https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/galaxy-s24-series/system-security-update/td-p/11488491
