im confused onnestly i have a a samsung galaxy player 5.0 and it says when i go to download something like clash of clans or any other cool game it says ur device isn't compatible with this version my mom said we need to update the player but idk how or what to do

When i try to download a game it wont let me it says downloading forever and ever then it popes on my screen says can download app err code 500 and stuff i tryed again and agin nothing someone plzz i need help

Clear cache and data. Go to settings..Apps or App manager..click on play store, force stop, clear cache and data. Exit Settings and reboot phone.

Welcome to the forums! You may want to clear the Play Store's cache.

Go to Settings-->Apps-->All
Select Play Store
Click Clear Cache

If that doesn't do it click Clear Data

That may just get you going again.

This is the way. I did infact have to clear data also but this got me up and running.

Thank you so much, the clearing coach and then I had to clear all the data but in the end, it worked perfectly and now I can download things once again <3 I thank you so much.

There's a tip that help me:
Go to Settings > Apps > Click on 3 dots and then on Reset Preferences.

That's should fix the problem.
