Wife's s7 edge wont load. I did a factory setting and still is the same. You guys think is defective?

Won't load the Play store? Does it get an error message? What happens when she tries to open it?

Error message thats says unfortunately google play store had stopped. Every time she tries to open it same thing.

TRy and clear the cache and or data for the app in applications manager.
Settings>application manager>google play store>storage>clear cache>clear data . Try to clear cache only first and see if the app opens, if not you may have to clear the data for it too. Usually that will work, if not you could try a "fix permissions" app. On a rooted phone i used rom manager or twrp recovery to do it but i dont know of a non rooted app off hand.

i installed it and tested it on a couple my apps ,seems to work but there was nothing wrong with my apps i tested on so dont know for sure if it indeed would fix the foreclose on your play store app or not. Perhaps try it out if the above clearing cache n data dont werk.
