Play Videos While Viewing Another Tab?

Is there a way to enable a video to play in one tab in Chrome while viewing a different tab, or a different app, like on a computer? Annoying that it stops as soon as you go off the screen the video is on.

I have not seen any ways to do it, the chrome for Android is optimized for mobile and not the same as the one on a PC. Depending on the phone you might be able to muiti window two different browsers and get it to work like that.
