Playing a movie from eeepad to tv.

Is there a way to be able to either turn off the screen or close the pad to the base on the epad and still continue to watch the movie?

Don't know how to do that, but until someone answers you could turn it around facing away from you.

I have just updated OS to the latest version 9.2.1.17-20120312

Now when connected to TV via HDMI my TF101 auto turns off it's screen
