Playing a movie with an LCD projector

What's the best way to do this? I just bought a screen that I can put in the backyard for a movie night. I want to play a movie from my V10. Can I stick a Chromecast in the projector? Use a micro usb to hdmi cable?

Probably the easiest way would be to connect the phone to the projector's HDMI port using a Slimport adapter cable: SlimPort supported devices

Maybe transfer the movie file to a USB thumb drive with an OTG cable, then plug the drive into the USB in on the projector. As long as the video codec is compatible it should work.
