so.... with social-distancing due to COVID-19, what games are you playing on your phone?

Anything new?
Picking up anything you used to play and didn't have time for but have time for now?

Progressbar95 is still a hoot to play. #DRIVE is also fun.

I do not like the ads in ProgressBar95, and honestly it is quite a hard game even when I got around the ad situation. Ended up uninstalling it a while back as the difficulty irritated me. Will try it at some point again.

#Drive is way to difficult LOL

I don't game too much but I am sticking to my current collection for the most part.

Oh yeah that ain't no match for classic J2ME Nokia Snake EX2 no matter how poorly it runs on the unofficial version of J2ME Loader that I use for this type of stuff. Here is clear proof of THE Snake running on my Galaxy S8...

Edit: yes, you are seeing it right. My phone only runs it at 15fps in 320x240 despite the unofficial APK allegedly being optimized for max performance...

If I had an old BlackBerry - and I don’t think I have - I’d be tempted to play Brickbreaker. Perhaps it’s good that I can’t, because when I did play, it was rather addictive. An excellent game, though, in my opinion.

We need a blackberry emulator (although you would be getting into the OS copyright stuff at that point) or an open-source compatibility layer that lets your run legacy blackberry software on Android.

^ I'm not sure that it would work. The BlackBerry had a fancy control button - "Trackball"? - that was just right for the game.

It would be hillarious if someone tried it in the OG Nexus One that had a freaking ILLUMINATED TRACKBALL. Like you could maybe even make it blink to the rhythm of game music LMAO

Tail Gunner Charlie, is an adware free (see settings) game.
Gyroscopic sensing, make sure you configure it correctly first.
It's my favorite.

I'm playing Plants vs. Zombies again hahaha

Mortal Kombat atm

Pretty heavy arcade style but easy to get a hang on

You can do like 5 to 15 or 25 or more battles straight (depend on skill too ofc) and once you used up your fighting potions you can then just do side missions with that exhausted team which is neat. Makes the waiting in between not feel like some punishment of not putting coins and to the contrary rewards you for coming back with an finished side mission

The only game I use on my phone is something called Wordscapes. It's a crossword puzzle set with nature scenes in the background. It's a very addictive game. I can not play for months but if I start again, I'll be obsessed!

Deus Ex GO currently free in the Play Store. I just started playing that, still trying to get through Hitman GO as well.
