Playing Videos on the Tab

Just got my tab and I am curious if anyone has started filling theirs up with videos and the like. Thats one of the big reasons I got the tab as it will replace my laptop on my frequent travels, and I don't know if there is a certain resolution that the tab requires all videos to be converted to like my phone. I know. Not really any questions in there, but if you'd toyed around with watching movies on your tab let me know if you had to do anything specific for them to play or if you were able to play any videos which had a supported format without converting the resolution.

I've put a couple of my DVD rips on so far. It doesn't seem to play the Divx encoded videos, but that may be something I've done wrong.

Xvid videos, however, play fine with no modifications. Haven't tried other formats yet as I've been thinking if tracking down a straightforward mp4 converter

If it's not, I'm going to seriously consider cancelling my Netflix subscription.
