Playstore country problem when purchasing a service from an app

Hi

I am having the "something went wrong, Couldn't complete your purchase. Check that you have the correct country selected in your Play account"

I want to purchase a service from an app which I installed from Playstore. I am an s23 user. But I want to purchase the service with the currency of my country of origin than the one I am currently in right now because it is cheaper. I guess that is the problem and the app is detecting that I am in another country. I have the sim card installed from the current country but my playstore account is from the origin country where I want to make the purchase from. I don't want to pay the higher amount of the purchase so I would like to pay it from the currency of my previous country.

Is there a way to solve this?

Not really except to go back temporarily to said country.

The money you spent on a quality VPN would likely be more than the difference on the app.
