Please Advise....Which ROM?

So, I was rooted...un-rooted, have tried Liberty, et. al. you name it. I decided to flash back to .340 using RSD and, as usual, went smoothly. I got the update (OTA) from VZW that gave me GB .596 - Numerous crashes and, yesterday, my phone practically caught on fire it was so friggin hot! It shut down and I couldn't use it for aboput 20 minutes - In the middle of a conference call nonetheless. So I went back to .340 but constantly get that damn upgrade reminder.

Is the TBH .596 "better" that Verizon's? Any other suggestions so that I could just use the device as "intended"?

Hahahahaha I know what you mean. I have rooted GB and am running mine overclocked, granted, but it's gotten up to 117??

I used the TBH version and no issues at all

I didn't have any issues with the TBH version either, but for a ROM recommendation, I would DEFINITELY recommend Apex. It is AMAZING. So fast, and AOSP is awesome. He has some .zips if you want to add back the Blur Camera and the Blur Galllery and stuff too

i have also had no issues with the TBH version, but remember that the TBH version is just a rooted version of the OTA. as far as roms go, im perfectly happy on stock right now (for once), as i rather liked the new blur. ive always been an apex fan though, and will likely give it a shot when its out of beta

Give Apex a try. You wont be disappointed, unless you can't live without the new GB Blur.

I agree with everyone else about the TBH version of .596. I'm using the deodexed version and my battery life/phone is amazing. No themes, just using Imoseyon's tweaks + other apps/mods I've done to my phone to maintain battery life and I have no zero issues. I've tried other custom roms and I keep coming back to my stock - deodexed rom because it's so fast and responsive. Once a final version of Apex, Rubix or Liberty come out I may try those roms, but I am perfectly content with what I am running right now.
