First off I would like to apologize if this has been posted but I could not find anything on it right away.

So I rooted my X last week and flashed Liberty 1.5 to it. I was happy as can be with it, but I was getting a error when google would like to access some permissions on my phone. So I decided to reflash the liberty rom to my phone. Everything went smoothly and I did not get the error this time around, BUT I went to sync everything to my phone with google and my apps with appbrain and my phone decided to reboot itself. It got past the Liberty boot screen, but as soon as it got to the revolving Liberty boot screen it just kept on that screen looping itself.

I unfortunately took the plunge to root without backing up (I know I am an idiot, I was just excited to play with my phone and took the plunge). So i downloaded RSD lite and I also downloaded an sdf. file and flashed it to my phone.

The phone rebooted and I thought I was in the clear when the stock Moto M came up but then it went right to the Liberty rotating boot loop again. I do not know what to do! Am I hosed? Please tell me what to do, I am using an old env2 and I am missing my X!!! I am currently at work now until 8pm, but any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Again I apologize for not being able to search the site.

Awesome news. The 2.2.1 full sbf just came out. You may need it. Once your back stock root and install bootstrapper and make a stock backup. Then rom away again.

Thank you everyone. How would I be able to wipe data and cache if I can not get to bootstrapper or clockwork? My phone is just stuck in that loop. I am going to try to flash the sdf. tonight when I get home.

doubt it.(that you will get into clockwork) you'll have to go into the stock dx recovery mode.
(google it)
then wipe EVERYTHING in there.. then go into the bootloader mode MANUALLY (google it)
and run SBF from there (make sure you have the correct SBF)
that should fix you up back to stock

If clockwork / bootstrapper are installed a battery pull triggers recovery on boot. So pulling the battery will get you into it.

Well I wiped my phone and apps when I tried to reload the liberty rom. So I don't think it was able to download bootstrapper before it started to reboot. So I guess I will just try to flash the SBF tonight. Thank you everyone for all of your help!

This happened to me a few times. Turn off phone or pull battery. Put battery back. Hold home and power button till you see android guy with a !. Now hit search key. Use volume to go to wipe cache and hit camera key. Once done select wipe data factory reset the same way. Hit back key select reboot. If that don't work try it one more time then sbf again. Once sbf is done if it don't boot and its just in a loop repeat the steps above. That should work.
