So a week ago I found out that there was a touch version of CWM. I downloaded it and flashed it in the old CWM then rebooted recovery and now I had the new touch version. All was good until I realized today when trying to make a backup (I usually make a backup, no matter what, every 10 days or so) that I cannot make a backup anymore.

When trying to backup after about 3 minutes of backing everything up at the end it says:
"Unable to find mounted volume: /sdcard"
"Error finding an appropriate backup handler."

Then the nandroid will be there but when I click on it, it says:
"MD5 mismatch"

What's wrong?! ANY help is muchh appreciated!!!!!!!!!!
I am running Liquid Smooth RC2.

I don't know if you're going to get any replies. There's only a handful of people who use cwm and I couldn't find much support for it past November of last year.

I still use CWM Touch 6.0.1.4, I've never had an issue with back ups. Have you tried backing up to your external card? Maybe check what version you're running, and see if it's the same as mine. Just a couple of ideas, don't know if it will help or not.

@Buddlespit- Majority of people use TWRP now?! I thought it was the opposite way around..

@sledge- I was trying to back up to my ext SD card, and yes I am running the same version as you.

Use TWRP, dude. I never had any problems with CWM before, but I've found TWRP much better at making backups and just about everything else. Not to mention, touch is standard. The easiest way to flash it is to download Goomanager from the market. Go Settings > Install OpenRecoveryScript > Yes

From there it should download it and flash automatically. Give it a shot and report back.

Yeah, almost everyone I know uses TWRP. There have been issues with some of the newer updates, so most everyone is stuck at 2.3.1.0. You can find the flashable of that version in one of the first few posts in the Wicked Sensations thread.

Yes I have uploaded it and put a link in the OP of the Wicked Sensations rom thread but you can also find the link below....

TWRP 2.3.1.0 This is a flashable zip. Just flash this in recovery.

Skunk, I have TWRP 2.4.4.0. What is wrong with it? Should I flash this older version over it? I've only made a nandroid with it but haven't flashed anything else nor done a restore yet...I guess I'm wondering if I should install the older one over this one

The newer versions do seem to have a few issues. I would flash the older version posted above.
