Please help Im a noob and im getting irritated

I say Im new to smart phones because I no longer consider my blackberry smart after my wife got her shift...I now upgraded to the evo3d and Im fumbling around without a clue how to solve two issues i am having...

1. any photos i take end up crono from oldedst to newest...is there any way to change that so i can go to my gallery and see my newest pics at the top?

2nd and most irritating....

I use fabebook to upload pictures of my kids, sports, funny cars (monster truck rims on an olds) and a lot more. However, I am not an active fb'er and for some reason whenever someone posts, writes me a messg, does anything on my fb, it shows up as a text on my phone... I want this to stop so bad. My wife has a big family and i get 10 comments per pic (i have a newborn) ...Please help

Question #2 change your settings on facebook on your desktop. Chances are you have some notifications set up to forward via sms.

Yeah, the gallery sort issue is something I'd like to see an option made for.

but its not too hard to hold the scroll bar on the right and drag it all the way down to the bottom where the most recent pics are.

I noticed the same thing, so since it does that I don't find the order too annoying. I haven't been bothered by it enough to try to change the setting but admittedly probably would if there were a way to change it and I happened to find a way while perusing the forums

I use QuickPic, it's free in the Market. It shows the newest picture 1st. My favorite part is that I make a new folder on my SD card, name it "DCIM - Contacts" or "DCIM - Jobs" etc. it keeps the folders together on your SD, but seperates them in QuickPic. Then your new pics you take go in "DCIM Camera".

For the Facebook problem, I'd sign on from your home computer, go to Account, on the drop down menu hit Account Setting, then hit the Notification Tab sroll down & uncheck all the SMS boxes

Another thing to check for Facebook, from the app home screen on the phone (the one with the icons) go to menu > settings and see what is default set to sync. You can un-check ” Notifications” to get rid of all of them.
