Please help. its urgent

i got a notification saying to update my samsung galaxy s6 and i accepted it. now my phone is on a blue screen with the 'installing system update' and it only goes up to about 31% before my screen goes to the samsung galaxy screen when your phone gets restarted and then it goes back to the blue page with the 'installing system update' and it goes like this on a loop. it has been like this for about an hour now and i dont want to lose anything i have on my phone. What can i do to stop this ?
update: if i leaves my phone the screen will just turn black and if i press on a button itll boot up and start doing th loop over and over again

Welcome to the forums. Have you tried a simulated battery pull?

Sorry for the delay. You may need to flash the ROM manually with a PC program called Odin. However, if there is a Best Buy near you with a Samsung Center, they may be able to help you as well.

How far from NYC are you?

I ask because there is a Samsung 837 store on 13th street that will help you.
