Please help me to make right choise.

Ok, tomorow I have to make decision. Either I will hold on to my iphone 4 or will get brand new samsung galaxy nexus. I have iphone since 3g and never had android pho e, so I do not know cons and pros. I love nexus 7 wich is great device, and it is my first android experience. (Yes I was one of those all apple suckers).
So what I will get with nexus as an upgrade to iphone 4. I saw specs, but is there some advantage in having nexus as tablet and pho e, is it much faster, is JB better than ios6, and is iphone4 just old atm.
Sorry for this stupid question, i tried to ask same thing differently but never got right answer.
