I hope you made or have a backup of your data.

If you do, you should do as suggested above. Use Wugfresh Toolkit. It's the easiest way for you to root your phone. Given what you've told us so far, it doesn't sound like you have the tech chops to do this stuff manually, or else you're going to need a lot of spare time to do it manually.

I'm not saying don't learn, but if you want an easy way to get rooted in a stable way, use Wugfresh and then start learning about this stuff. If you don't know how to 'flash' anything', it's the best way for you to go.

I just did it myself.
