Hi guys,
After the last OTA security update on my (unrooted, unlocked) Nexus 10 (5.1.1 (LMY49H)) it refused to boot (stuck on the Google logo). I logged into recovery mode and tried to wipe the cache partition. Connected the tablet to the charger and left it overnight. The next day it was still busy wiping.
So I rebooted (long press the power button) and tried the wipe data/factory reset option. Again, after hours of running still not done. But now I couldn't even get into recovery mode anymore (when booted into the bootloaded and selecting recovery mode the tablet starts a normal boot and gets stuck on the Google logo).
Last software option I could find was using the WugFresh Nexus Root Toolkit v2.1.4; but sadly again no option I tried completed.
Some hardware things I found that worked for some was tapping on the back and opening it up and making sure all connections are okay (as far as you can actually check this on modern electronics). Did both, but still unable to boot past the Google logo or enter recovery mode.
Any help would be much appreciated. But I am guessing that the tablet is dead. Seems to be a hardware issue (memory not working properly anymore?).
Kind regards,
Arjen
