Please help! Unresponsive touchscreen

I have a Sony Z3 and out of the blue yesterday the touchscreen became completely unresponsive. I have restarted countless times (with power & volume up button), fully charged, given it 24 hours and have just tried a repair using Sony Bridge. And NOTHING! Does anyone have any other ideas??

It could be a bad digitizer (the glass), a bad connection, corrupted firmware or a bad motherboard. You have to determine which one is bad before you can tell what needs to be fixed (or you have to pay a repair shop to diagnose it).
