Backstory...we used a Google Voice number with our landline..when we got rid of the landline, I put GV on my phone and had calls to that number forward to my cell phone.

I lost the phone, and got a replacement. The first app I installed was GV, so I would be sure to receive any calls sent to my home number. For some reason, ALL calls and texts were coming from the GV number, and I couldn't find the setting to ask before making the call.

So I uninstalled GV, and the calls still are coming from that number.

So I removed the Google account associated with that GV number, and the calls still are coming from that number.

So I did a master reset, and only added my main Google account (NOT the GV account), and the calls still are coming from that number.

Can anyone help me figure out HOW to get my calls/texts to come from my actual Sprint phone number??

Thanks so much!

It's a setting with Google Voice. You need to login to Google and fix that setting. I had the same issue, and even unrooted my phone so that I can take it back. I was so pissed because at the time, there was no way to root the Evo from it's most current update...

You need to disable the Sprint & Google Voice thing. Just log onto Google Voice on your PC, click the little gear in the top left-hand corner, click Voice Settings, and it should be on that first page. It's been a few months since I fixed the issue so I don't exactly remember it step-by-step. All I know is that it was easy to fix.
