Can somebody check this out for me. This is one days worth. I think this is horrible being as that I go in to work at 5am and work till 5pm. My phone is dead by 4: 30 daily. I tried to change all kind of stuff. Pushed the syncs out to longer time periods, optimized my email for peak times, haptic off, etc what else can I do?

My g2x used to last almost a day and a half!!!

Wow... It looks like you have pretty bad signal where you are. Try this for one day. When you are actively using you data turn it off. Both wifi and data. Just turn on the data while you need it. If your battery life improves a whole lot. It is most likely caused by a bad data signal.

I am assuming your saying turn it off when I don't need it. But the issue is I need it all day. I'm a production supervisor and my emails come directly to my phone

If accurate...A high cell standby percentage is an indication of a poor signal. If you have a poor signal your battery life will suffer a great deal. If you can't turn off data during the day I would take a spare battery or cable with you and monitor it for a few day and see if it improves.

Perhaps the bad signal is temporary as towers are upgraded. as you said, it used to be good. If in a week or so things haven't improved You can call Sprint support and they will tell you to "Update your Profile and Update your PRL. If you still have problems Hard RESET your Phone." They always do.

Are you on a stock phone or are you rooted on a custom rom?

Stock phone. But the service was never good. I had t-mobile before that didn't even get any signal which is why I switched to sprint. But I guess I'm going to have to bring a charger with me. Just sucks. I can't see how some people get an entire day. I Love the phone besides that.

If you have a weak signal, it takes much more battery power to keep a data connection. People with a good signal or people always on wifi, get much better battery life as it takes no effort on the phones part to stay connected.

Battery life is highly dependent on several factors:
1. How your phone is setup.
2. How you use your phone.
3. And the biggest... Your signal strength.

My signal strength is really bad like yours but I don't require a constant connection like you. So about every other hour, I will turn on data and check my mail. When finished, I turn it off. Doing it this way works for me and I can normally get 15-17 hours from a charge.
