Please new update (capacitive buttons)

I really hope there's a new update for Lollipop where in the settings there's a set brightness to the capacitive buttons. That would really be nice to have and for other users that have that problem. Especially when watching movies or videos. Those buttons just get in the way. Hope to see a fix on that.

There are plenty of apps that can do it for you. I use Lux Auto Brightness and keep mine turned off at all times. I don't see why you'd ever need them lit, as it's not like they change positions.

+1 for the app Lux. And not just for the buttons - it's great at setting appropriate brightness compared with stock.

You're quite right. I use it to modify the general brightness too. Stock auto brightness always defaults to too bright at night. I don't enjoy being blinded when I turn on my phone, so I've set my brightness levels to negative values (zero is as low as stock will go).
