Please post when you get the new OTA!

I just finished installing the latest firmware (located in southwestern PA). Fingers crossed that it resolves the mobile hotspot and tethering disconnect issues.

But with the constant data connect means less battery, so now I'm battling with that.
No, it doesn't. It's better 'cuz now the TBolt doesn't have to "search" for a data connection, improving battery life.

Anybody seeing it yet? Do you have a reduced number (hehe, I love that!) of reboots/resets? ;-)
Ok, I think I'm up and everything looks magnif! SMS going out well with server setting to "ePHRD" (or maybe I'm spelling that wrong) I used to have to go to EVDO when home with my Network Extender, but now with it back to where it defaults I'm getting great results. GPS does appear to be wicked fast, too!

Reboots? Remains to be seen. I'm gonna battery-out power down at midnight and then kick it back in and we'll see how long it lasts ....

I was rooted on BAMF, I auto unrooted and checked for the update. It says service unavailable. What's up with that? I called customer service and the rep said that it shows that message because it's not available for my phone yet. The guy told me that HTC is rolling out the update in waves.

Got it in Vegas. Had to force the install by switching to CDMA only with LTE/OFF app. It pulls the update in 1x fine. Then before 2 minute timer for update expired, switched back to CDMA + LTE/EvDo and downloaded OTA on 4G. I had the "Service Unavailable"message when checking for update initially.

downloaded and installed in Columbia, SC

Had to manually check for it.
Yes, you have to manually check for it. It is not going to pop up by itself, not this update (well at least not now, maybe later). This is what the pdf file says at Verizon site.
