if i messed up to my boot image somehow when i tried loading a custom ics rom am i able to use the htc dev unlock method to relock my bootloader and fix my phone??

from my understanding as long as you can get into bootloader and recovery then you should be all set, youll have to relock the phone and then run the RUU program and it will revert it back to stock no problem, and then you just do the whole unlocking, and root process. I would do the s-off method this time around. I did it and i have no problems at all. good luck let us know how it goes for you
