pletely after a suppose update

[Android Central Question]

I pressed update button for Gallery app, in the play store along with my usual updates to run. However, when I checked back on my updates Gallery is now CANDY GALLERY WITHOUT MY PICTURES AGHHHHH! Without any sort if notication of the app cangung or being deleted! CAN YOU FEEL ME NOW?

Welcome to Android Central! Let me guess -- you have an Alcatel phone, right? That's been happening since early this year: https://www.androidpolice.com/2018/...alcatel-phones-replaced-spamware-users-angry/

But any pictures that were saved to the phone should still be present. Are you talking about photos taken by the phone's camera? If so, use a file manager app to look directly in the /DCIM/Camera directory -- do you see all of the photos there?
