pls help me with battery drain

i bought micromax canvas 2. Dual core 1ghz 512mb ics 4.0.4.
Everything was awesome. But when i plug my charger the phone heats to 47c and normal use it is 43c.
Also battery is 2000mah. I am gettin very low backup. I have to charge twice a day.
I rooted. Used al task kiling app. Seen nothing in betterbatterystats in sleep mode. Stil in sleep mode it drains 4% for half hour. Help me. Pls what should i do?.

Turn off Wifi and Bluetooth. Download ROM Toolbox off of the Play store and that should help

Me using longetivity app plus juice defender and settings i can go aboout 16 -20 hr actively using, wit wifi enabled so i hope these two can make some difference for you too
