Plug phone in and display doesn't shut off

Started a week ago. I plug my phone into the cable micro USB and the display dims but will not shut off. Then it doesn't fast charge because it thinks the phone is being used.

Check Settings/General/Developer options, for "Stay awake". Make sure it's not checked.

Wow, would have never though to look for that. Not even sure how it was on. I haven't tested yet, but I'm pretty sure that will fix it. Thanks
