Screen protector mode

That's a good thing because people will complain if their experience is not up to par with fps. Not Google's fault it the cheap protector you purchased gives a bad experience lol. Glad to see they're trying to avoid it from happening.

Definitely good move by Google

This feature had me a little concerned. I had already received my screen protector from Amazon before I knew this was a thing. I wanted one ready to install when I received the phone.

I went ahead and installed it (it doesn't even have a QR code on the box}. It was very easy to install and works perfect on the fingerprint sensor even though I set up the fingerprint before installing the protector.

I totally missed that screen this morning. I installed my protector, erased my prints, then re-entered them. So far, so good. Part of me wonders if they're trying to drive sales in a certain direction. Mine is just a cheapo from Amazon.

It's my first time using a privacy protector, and I like it. Nice and clear until the angle changes.

If it works then don't worry
