Plugging in my phone drains battery

Has anyone experience this. I plugged my phone in before bed. Battery was at 29% life. When I woke up 6 hours later the battery was drained and the phone was off. I made sure the phone was actually charging before I fell asleep.

Did you perhaps knock it loose sitting it down or blow the fuse on the wall outlet overnight? I can't think of any other reason (I am not saying you are wrong just that my imagination is failing me)

It was doing weird things today while I was charging it. It was saying something about docking mode was on even though I just plugged it into the fast charger

Sounds like an issue with either the cable, charger, or port on your phone. Lets hope it is one of the first two.

Yea it was definitely the fast charger cable. Weird thing it also kept opening Samsung Gear VR app that I didn't think I even had download.
