This is an impressive device. Premium build quality, probably the best skin (save Vanilla Android), great camera, off the charts tech specs, brilliant screen. I'm going to stay loyal to my Nexus 4, but the HTC One is definitely the best device announced in 2013.

yup, it really is. i've yet to find a negative review. sure a few quirks here and there, but the overall sentiment from every reviewer is that this is the best smartphone to date and possibly of all time. will be hard to beat these kind of reviews across the board.

I wish HTC the best, they have an uphill battle especially with the device not launching in the states until the end of april with how well samsung is now recognized. Hope this comes to verizon in some form.

Yes I agree with you there. Admittedly, the Samsung marketing machine will doubtless mean many more S4 models will be sold in comparison to the HTC One but all of the reviews I have read have heavily declaimed the HTC One as being 'The One.' Let's hope it really does take the smartphone world by storm.

The only thing I've seen mixed reviews about is the camera and Blinkfeed, other than that, the phone gets great marks across the board from every tech reviewer I seen.
