I'm so glad you said this....I commented on his Hareware review YouTube video and asked if he has suffered some sort of stroke lately. He had trouble opening the back of the phone, when everyone says it's easy. He had trouble with the USB door at the top of the phone (which most reviewers seem to love).
I think two things are happening here. 1: He's looking at the phone not as a consumer but as a person who was given a phone and told to review it. He has no need for the phone so thus he wants it to do something to "Wow" him. That's why these reviews total almost an hour. He's searching through phone hoping something will pop out. Really an hour? I mean you can really get to know what's what in 15 minutes or so.
And 2: even though we honestly want to know about the EPIC, we are looking at the reviews as consumers who want to receive justification to buy this phone. You really gotta ignore the reviewer and just look at the phone and how it works. Any reviewer is going to take his own biases into a review...the good ones know how to give you info and break it down in a way that doesn't form an opinionated slant...but an actual REVIEW of the item.
Plus this guy keeps saying "latency" wrong!
