I highly recommend this case. Very professional and well built case. I would expect to pay more for a case this quality.

Poetic makes a Great Product! I ordered the Poectic Smartcover case.

I have some concerns. How snug is it? It seems to be that its hardly holding it. Considering it has to be easily detectable to put it in stand mode. I wonder if the strength of the corners will wear out.

Like all these cases they are exposed on edges that don't have controls. Like the bottom doesn't need to be that exposed. What about dirt and stuff getting through the sides and onto the screen if this is in a bag? I have a thin padded case for a nook that folds over to hold and it zips shut. Its a tiny bit too big for holding the N7 securely though. My friend also has a folding case for his 10in tablet that zippers shut and has stylus inside the fold.

It's pretty snug, I don't think my N7 is gonna fall out of it at any point. I think the only way the corners would get weak over time is if someone constantly took the N7 in and out of the case.

I had a Kindle Fire case around my N7 for about the first 2 weeks cause it's all I could find locally. When I read a few posts here about the Poetic case I decided to take a chance and order it. I am very impressed with the high quality of the materials used and the build quality. I like the fact that the case doesn't slide easily on my glass desk which means it won't get knocked off as easily.

Two of my kids have Kindle Fire's my son has a Case Logic kindle fire case for his with a zipper on it. Honestly I don't think I would let him have any other type of case. He tends to be a little rough with things so I want it to have as much protection as possible.

My daughter also had the same type of case until I switched to the Poetic and then she said "Daddy, can I have your old case?" So that's what she is using now.

Not everyone will like the Poetic case, and we can sit here and discuss the pro's and con's of every case for every circumstance that we think might come up. But after having a Kindle Fire case on my N7 and now having a case that's made for it I can see a world of difference.

The best advice I can give anyone is to find a case with or without a zipper or exposed edges that is made for the tablet specifically.

I just pulled the trigger on this case, yesterday I believe. Anxiously awaiting mine. I hope its as good as you say it is and I expect it to be.

For the dirt cheap (in my eyes) price of 13$ or something like that I'll pull the trigger. Rocking the portenzo ATM but I really change my mind a ton of what I like and dislike. Tomorrow I might want it naked so.

I just ordered one yesterday. I have the same case for my Asus TF101 and have been impressed with the fit and quality. My problem with their TF case is it doesn't accommodate the keyboard. - sheureka

I have the same case and it is very good, however I switched to the YooMee version (which is exactly the same) because it comes with a black microfiber lining which I like better than the grey. My wife is now using the Poetic version.

I only need the case for traveling with it, so naked at home lol.

I got my Poetic hardback yesterday, and it came as a surprise that Amazon delivers on Sundays their FREE shipping, it came in less than 6 days.

I love how it fits around the Nexus, and it seems the battery last longer now that it goes to sleep when the cover closes, I changed the sleep time to 30min just in case I forget to lay the cover down.

Highly recommended.

I received mine, but the sleep/wake function isn't working. Contacted the seller and they're sending me a new one. I like the case, though.
