Point me in the right direction.

Hi. I am looking to root my S4. Could you please point me in the direction of the correct procedure and the official S4 rom. I am on Vodafone UK. And while I am here I pre ordered this phone and got it on release day. It has no Vodafone markings and nothing in the boot screen. Is it a Samsung unlocked handset?

It depends on a couple of things...What Android version are you on?

Alright, well there is still no official firmware for 4.3 so if you run into any issues you won't be able to Odin back to stock. At least until Samsung releases it...and you'll balso be voiding your warranty with the root method, since it trips the Knox flash counter.
Let me see if I can find a link for the root method

OK. Found a working root method for the i9505. You'll have to scroll down to find your model number and the supported ROMs
