Just curious. I never touch live wallpapers and might just remove them all together.

I was actually wondering this same thing. I personally think live wallpapers are gimmicky and a waste of battery. I thought they were the shiznit when I first got my Optimus but that feeling didn't last long :p

Yeah, they're neat to look at, for a minute. After that it bugs me that it's just there wasting battery.

From time to time I'll throw another live wallpaper up, but it never lasts more than half a day before I switch it back.

I'd say I'm 99.5% regular and .5% live.

Negative here and I'm not shocked at all to see the results so heavily skewed to no.

On every single phone i ever own i always use the same wallpaper, solid black.

LWP are a waste just sum little goody that Google put in to make the phone look good when its on display but if i do use a livewallpaper i use the one with the grass

I think there is a place for them, but not when the phone is unplugged. Like maybe a customizable screen saver when locked and plugged in.

i find if u use the phone doing something that taxes the processor it slows it down having it on.

Not normally but I do have a log cat live wp I toss on every once in a while that makes the inner geek happy... B-)

I put the Christmas lights one on my phone because I thought it was kind of cute ;) Other than that I don't use them.

No, I figure it will drain the battery, the matrix live wallpaper is sweet thoufh, can anyone confirm if it kills the battery?

I used to love my Flurry live wallpaper...but then I switched to CM7, and it doesn't run right on it.

AFAIK, they only use battery/CPU cycles when you are looking at them. When you are in an app or the screen is off, they are dormant.

I use a picture of my Jeep sitting on top of an old Titan 2 missile control bunker. Can't beat that. :)

At first, I didn't like them, but I'm using the stock grass wallpaper now. Winter has seemed to stick around too long here (MI), and I need to see some flowing green grass, or I'm gonna friggin go nutz! LOL
