[POLL] Does anyone use live wallpapers?

Usually have the nexus live wallpaper running. Have put up non-live wallpapers before, and haven't really seen a change in battery life.

Yeah supposedly live wallpapers don't use much extra battery because the only time it polls the CPU is when you are actually looking at the live wallpaper. While in an application it sleeps.

tend to not bother running a live wallpaper... as it does consume minimal extra power...

I use the Mario Live Wallpaper from here:

It's awesome, and has a bunch of different recordings that mario goes through. Good stuff.

Lags occasionally though.

I do see it using CPU when I'm not looking at it, at least according to Usage Timelines, but usually really minimal. Did notice as a kind of proof of concept on it, when I shut down everything but the radio (but cut off data, so it's not constantly trying to update Twitter/my email/weather/etc) my phone will sit at 100% battery for a few hours. Turned everything back on for a 30 minute break at work and started up an IM client and an IRC client, and lost 6% of my battery.

But then again, I'm using one that's not really all that complicated. Could see some live wallpapers that require a bit more rendering and are more interactive eating up more CPU and thus more battery.
