poll: how many phones do you have?

I have 3 but hopefully will be able to sell my pixel 3xl.
I have that and iPhone XR
And Note 9.

Im wondering if I do keep my third line, if the S10+ will be worth it. If the camera will be better than the Pixel. Regarding the 3XL..the only thing I like about it is the camera really.
I have two that I use. Galaxy S10+ & OnePlus 6T. Still have the Pixel 2XL, Note 8, OnePlus 6, Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X, Nokia Lumia Icon, Nokia Lumia 1520 in a box somewhere. Everytime I start watching review videos my wife goes sideways because she knows I'm working up to buying something.

2 x S10+ (Ceramic White and Ceramic black)
iPhone XS Max
iPhone Xr
Asus Zenphone Max (was Mom's before she passed away)

I'll start from the oldest ones:

Nexus 4
iPhone 5S
Note 4
Note Edge
iPhone 6+
iPhone 6S
iPhone 6S+
Note 5
3 S7 Edge
iPhone 7+
2 iPhone SE
Note 8
Note 9
S10+
3 XS Max (2 factory unlocked, 1 AT&T)

I sold the iPhone 8+ and S9+ on Friday. I see that I'm not the only one who has more then on XS Max. It's a great phone, probably my most favorite iPhone to date which is why I bought more then one.

I swap sim cards between phones all the time and on the iPhone XS Max, I have cheap T-Mobile prepaid eSim plans on two of them.

I am not going to name the 3 or 4 phones that are boxed up but still have. All of those pretty old now

But the ones that I have and still use are
2016 Iphone (SE Gold 64 Gb) the only phone just use with WiFi's only
2016 Pixel (Sailfish 128 Gb )
2017 Pixel 2 XL ( Panda 128 Gb )
2018 Iphone XR ( Blue 128 Gb )

I'll start from the oldest ones:

2 iPhone SE
Note 8
Note 9
S10+

It's so comforting to know there are many many worse phone junkies than me.

Is the thread going from how many phones you use currently to the history of your phones

Still confused on why you have more than one Xs Max
Just trying to understand what's the reason even though you love the phone. Wouldn't it be better if you have Xr, Xs and Xs Max instead of 3 Xs Max so that you can enjoy all of them instead of multiple phones of same model

Edit: I also see you have multiple phones of same model with few other phones as well. Nevermind everyone has their own habits, who am I to question

I currently have an S10 plus and S10e (thank you Verizon), Pixel 3 XL and iPhone XS. I was going to sell my Pixel, but decided to keep it to use for trade in value for the Pixel 4.

I was trying to break my habit this year but I realized it's impossible.
I said I was gonna be better starting last year...but that didn't last long. Phones are too cool. Too much of a toy-factor for me to avoid.

I thought it was how many phones you own (still have) ... If we are talking about how many we use, for me it's OnePlus 6 & S10+
Ah I didn't realize people kept all that old phones, personally I only keep the phones I use other ones I sell them asap otherwise just collecting dust. And moreover selling the old phones helps in offsetting little bit cost for the new ones. Helps that I sell them still when they are in the first year so I'll get good value compared to very old ones which don't have any value.

LOL I don't know if I can even try explain so thanks for adding the edit. I'll just leave it as I wrote above.

I use to collect phones, but as I started to go away from the big 4 carriers and paying outright for devices, I began to either sell or trade in the previous phone to lessen the impact to the wallet. I used to acquire 4 phones/yr (I used to work in mobile as well), but now I only do 1 a year upon release of a new Galaxy.

I'm a little jelly of those of you with so many laying around. Although I'm a phone aficionado, I prefer to buy outright.

Not including the numerous BlackBerrys I have in a drawer never to be used again, I have a Note 8 and an S10
