Everyone has a favorite. Which phone is your most memorable? The one that served you well, and loved using all the time. Is the V20 your most favorite phone to date? It could be the Motorola RAZR flip phone, HTC Evo, iPhone 3Gs, Samsung Note, etc.

Personally, the V20 is my favorite out of all the past phones I've used (at least to date). Almost perfect, though it has a few flaws, I could see myself using it for a while. I liked the older Galaxy lines like the S5 and Note 4 before they went with all glass. Which is your favorite and why?

I would of made babies with the Note 7. But you really don't want to burn certain parts of your body.....

I love my 20, favorite phone so far, but my Nexus 6 runs a very close second. If I could combine the two... lol
Hmmmmmm...

Ah back when Google owned Motorola.... should've kept it! That 6 inch screen though! I have a ZTE Zmax Pro and love the 6 inch display.

The original LG Optimus.
My first smartphone, lasted almost 3 years. Still have it around here somewhere
Small screen but worked great, never.a problem

Love my V20, last phone was a Galaxy S5 that was great. Just turned that phone into a worldwide standalone GPS (no cellular or wifi needed) and a dashcam. When it's time to get my V20 replacement the V20 will become a GPS/Dashcam.

I assuming you have the maps you need downloaded.

Yes, all maps are free and you can delete what you do not need and add what country your visiting. Right now I have the US from Maine to Florida and all states west to Indiana. Plus 1/2 of Canada. The maps apper to very complete and updates are free. Read on a review that the user was in Singapore and it accurately took him to all his destinations. I tested it to my sons house in Philly and it accurately took me to his door navigating all the weird one way and alleys in his area.

No, Google maps is a great program but requires cell service or wifi. Its called HereWeGo Pro.

For offline GPS navigation, I use MAPS.ME you can download maps offline and use turn by turn navigation. I have it as back up just in case there's no cell service. Alternatively you can download maps offline for Google Maps but they expire after a certain amount of days.

The wide angle camera makes it useful as a dashcam, plus 64GB storage with expandable memory.

You can download offline maps now on Google Maps

True but only for a small area, can you download all the maps if I am driving from NJ to TN and do not want to use cell or data on the trip? What about foreign countries?

Second behind Note 3. It had led notifications which I prefer to second screen. It also had factory built Qi charging back cover which I was disappointed never happened for the V20. It also had more dependable HDMI connection with a Samsung built charging connector. Again LG built no such accessory for us. In fact LG never even sold spare batteries. Just entirely abandoned V20 once it was sold. Still the V20 is the best phone available for me that works in VZW and has ir blaster and 5.7 inch 16/9 screen so it earns second place.

The app I use as a dashcam you set the amount do space to use and it automatically deletes the oldest unless you save it in archives.

I had the Note 3. It was a beast when it first came out (wow, built in 32GB storage instead of 16GB). Mine had a screen burn in and it annoyed me. Also battery stopped holding a good charge after 1 year, had to buy another one. The chrome paint on the plastic bezel also started to chip off, didn't like the cheap build quality. The wireless back for the Note 3 was sold separately. It was also a bit thicker so you couldn't really put a case over it. Also, the accessories were rare in stores. If you still had a Note 3 today, the last OTA update probably made it slow and obsolete, despite still being mid range today. Problem with Samsungs. BTW Samsung slashed HDMI plugin support, only WiFi casting now which lags.
