I am returning the phone. The whole fiasco with their customer service left a terrible taste in my mouth, but even setting that aside I cannot justify paying $700 for this phone, especially compared to what else can be purchased for that amount or slightly more. The materials and feel are top notch, but that is about the only place where this phone excels over others in its range. The camera is poor, as has been documented, the screen is okay, but nothing special and it has serious signal issues. The signal bounces all over the place, almost always showing signal strength less than my other phones in the same location. The thing that really bothers me, however, is that it is a nearly bezeless phone that is supposed to take advantage of the full 5.7 inch screen, but the only thing that takes advantage of the full display is the launcher loaded on the phone (which is terrible). No other apps or launchers (I use Nova) use the full space. Instead, there is the black bar at the top. When combined with the navigation buttons on the bottom, the actual display is much less than 5.7 inches. In time, apps may be adjusted to fill that space, but how much time are the app developers going to put into that effort for one phone? Not much.
Again, it is not a terrible phone and some of the issues may be fixed in time. To me, it is just not worth $700.
