If he had unlimited data he lost it changing to a feature phone.

That's what I was afraid of. :'( The only reason I'm holding onto my old BB after the Nexus drops.

I've been waiting to upgrade since July (for the Bionic originally, but passed on that as it was a bit of a let down in the end and the Nexus had come along) so I can wait a little longer.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure my BB Storm 2 is going to hold out much longer. Its now steadfastly refusing to receive phone calls and will only call out about half the time. Skype has long since stopped working on it, though thankfully texts and emails still seem to be working. I'm using my wife's old BB Torch battery as mine died, but even that is now starting to fail...

Thank goodness for my XOOM, though having to use it as a phone at times is very embarassing!

So, short answer, I hope to be able to wait, but I may be forced to make a change soon.

At this rate, by the time the Nexus appears it might have some real competition (other high end phones designed for ICS) at least announced and maybe even with "firm" release dates. For now, I'm holding out, but the clock is ticking...

Nah, either way, I'm going to have to pay the off contract price for it, and I think a Nexus phone is the only phone I'd do that for (being that my Thunderbolt is just fine, as is). The software is what's most important, to me, and in that regard, I'm not very impressed with either the Razr or Rezound.

While I'd love to have the Nexus ASAP, I don't really mind the wait, mostly because I'm still trying to make a good bit of money on eBay, to afford it, anyway. Right now, I have about $450 from eBay, but I have to wait to sell more stuff because they put annoying selling restrictions on my account, since it's fairly new. I can afford the Nexus, either way, but it'd be nice to have sold another $200-ish on eBay first.

If I pass up on GNexus it will be for a Tegra 3 phone if there is a release date for a Tegra before the GNexus
