Do you use WiFi calling?

Yes, but only when it's needed. Have set the calling mode with cellular preferred. It will flip to WiFi only if it's needed.

I have not used WiFi calling but have wondered if there's a benefit to using it. I'm figuring there's a battery life hit if the phone is switching back and forth between cell network and WiFi.

Use wifi calling, live in the country.
Signal isn't great.
Lot of trees.
Also use it for internet on the phone.

I don't mainly because I don't actually talk on the phone much but My Wife who works at home does many conference calls and she's been using Wifi calling for awhile now and loves it, less dropped calls.

Yes , I use it in my home. I just leave it on all the time. Thats the only place I used Wifi Calling.

I have a pretty good signal most of the time. The only level on my home that the signal is weaker is my basement.
That level is mostly underground tho.

I only use it to make calls to my daughter when either of us are abroad. it avoids the high cost of roaming charges.

I wish, The first US Carrier that allows wifi calling on Unlocked phones WILL get my business!

Wi-Fi calling is enabled on my phone, but not sure if it is ever used. It's very rare I make/receive calls in such a poor signal area that I have wifi available to make calls.

My Huawei P20 Pro on Three UK decides which to use depending on the strongest signal and the WiFi Calling Indicator only comes on when my cell signal is poor. I've made calls when the indicator is on and they've been crystal clear, I assume they're then routing over the WiFi though there's no way I can be sure but based on what I know I'd score WiFi calling 10 / 10.

Generally I just let WiFi calling work on its own. It gets used when it gets used. HOWEVER, while travelling in Spain in 2017, I was able to use WiFi calling to phone home without charge. :) VERY handy!

I'm on T-Mobile and there are still places where it doesn't work in rural NC. (like my MOTHER'S HOUSE)
But Wi-Fi calling works great with them. I've been happy overall with this.

I've started using this feature to see what I've been missing all this time.

Technically nothing. If you have cell signal already you won't really notice anything different.
