My wife has already been on an iPhone since 2009, so it's not like I wouldn't know what to do with it. I'm the one that has to fix any problems with it as it is anyway.

I use both Android and iPhone, iPhone for work. While $10k would be amazing, the thing that would sway me isn't the money but being able to get rid of iOS.

One main reason why I keep a personal phone is because I hate how iOS works. I mainly use the iPhone for work because i don't want to use it if I don't have to.

Since I have used both OS for quite a long time on a daily basis, I know what's on the other side and overall, I find a lot of things annoying about iOS ranging from no swipe/pinch in Apple CarPlay on the maps, to the awful way iOS handled notifications and the asinine app drawer implementation, Apple's way or the highway mentality and more.

I'd only buy an iPhone for personal use if there was a way to wipe the phone of iOS and install another OS on it. Its hardware is amazing, not a fan of how the OS is designed. Apple is great with seamless ecosystem integration though, that I'll give them praise but everything else about iOS is annoying.

No. I wouldn't use iOS exclusively for any price. I'd only use iOS begrudgingly if it were required by an employer. However, my personal device would still be Android.

Ha Ha. Exactly what happened to my son. On work days he carries around 2 phones. iPhone (which he hates) plus his Pixel6a which he loves.

I like both my iPhone and my Android phones and 10K is not really enough to just carry one phone cuz I know I will be bored as hell and that can't be paid off with any amount of money

It's possible Apple will skip USB-C altogether on their phones to go with wireless charging. I don't like the predatory business practices of Apple and they aggressively lock you in to their ecosystem. See the WSJ last week for a couple articles, one about how easy it is for thieves to completely lock you out of your Apple account just by obtaining your passcode once they steal your phone. The other article talks about how they manage to "steal" intellectual property by just hiring other company employees
