Any ideas would be helpful. Battery life on the Nexus 7 just seems to be getting worse. I have the 32GB version but still have over half the memory free, have tried all the battery saving tips
ie, GPS switched off, brightness on low, WIFI off when tablet in sleep mode,no live wallpapers but find it takes the whole night to charge fully yet am lucky to get a few hours use, the battery just drains like mad when in use, when checking the battery indicator it says the screen is taking 70% of the battery life, this seems excessive. Can't seem to find any APPS that could be causing this problem so any suggestions would be good!!

define what kind of usage you're actually doing on the device. how much screen time you have on, etc. and what is "a few hours?" 3 hours? 8 hours?

There has got to be a rouge app of somesort that is causing the battery drain. I usually get mine at about 4 hours or so of on screen time over a period of 2 or 3 days before i have to charge my n7. Download betterbatterystats from the play store. Once you download it, open it to have it start checking and then give your nexus 7 a full charge and when you have to put it back on the charger check the app to see what it was.

Will try this suggestion, I have also noticed I can now only charge my n7 when its switched off,
With the standard Asus charger plugged in when on, no charge is being
added like when I first used it?
Time to full charge seems to be taking lot longer too, I'm running 4.2.2, maybe the cause?

The processor is the culprit, Nvidia did not do it assignment on power issue, Google will drop nvidia on next version of the tablet..
