poor earpiece audio

I have not had my Droid "Charge" long but so far I like it except for inferior audio at times from the earpiece. Is this a trait of the phone? Just seems my old BB Curve had much better reception.

May be your ear phones, quality on mine seems fine.

This phone has a digital conversion problem. The ear piece voice quality is only fair at best. Sometimes I could barley understand what my callers were saying this handset has a hard time converting digital voice back to analog voice properly. Its not just "your phone".
