Poor touch response on Nexus 6P

Has anyone else been experiencing poor touch response on their 6P? Everything has been fine up until the last month or so. Now I have to touch 2-3 times on apps or buttons to get it to register anything. No real pattern, happens randomly.

Sometimes. I find that only happens after I have had my phone awake for 3+weeks. Then it will occasionally get janky. I can tell because the Google keyboard swipe function basically becomes useless.
