POP 3 Mail

The POP3 email that I deleted from my phone keeps coming back when I refresh the in box. On the Verizon website in the forums a lot of people are having the same trouble so has any one here have any ideas ?

Have you considered a different email app? I use maildroid since I like the font size options and have used it for a while now. I've only had my phone for a couple of weeks, but no issues with any emails coming back.
