pop up notifications

I get pop up notifications on some apps like WhatsApp. But not on others like Outlook. Even though I have it turned on in notifications on both apps. Any ideas how I can get this to show on Outlook. Very useful when deciding whether to act on it or not.

Do you mean the popup from the top of the screen? Some apps have not been edited to fulfill the triggers needed to have the popup appear. To get around this I downloaded an app called Floatify that creates a popup for all notifications. You'd need to turn off the popups made by the stock software though. Otherwise you'll have two popups on some notifications (one from Floatify, another from stock). Floatify is better IMO due to the customizable look and behavior.
