Pop up virus notice with count down clock

[AC Question]

My google chrome browser has a pop up that says I have a virus and then it starts a count down clock. I accidentally hit some random ad in FB and my phone vibrated and I'd all kinds of weird things, then it went to the virus notice and clock.
I haven't clicked on it. I turned the phone off, then went to safe mode and it was still on the browser and restarted the clock, so I turned it off again. How do I get it off? The notice came from appadsportable.site.

I believe its just an advertisements from the site. I would recommend to clear the data and cache on your chrome application. Go to settings > app manager or applications > click chrome application > tap clear data and cache.
